Adapt is dedicated to helping members of the St. Louis metropolitan area overcome their dependence on the automobile. The organization’s members believe that overdependence on the automobile, though integral to the metro area's design, has negatively impacted our community. They seek to ameliorate these effects by promoting other, alternative forms of transportation, including but not limited to light rail, buses, bicycling and walking.
